Can anyone give me feedback on interior design courses they have done as a beginner? I already have a degree not subject related but am willing to do another degree if needed but would prefer the diploma route.

Do people take online courses seriously in the industry? Or is it better to do in person?

KLC seems good. But it's really about work experience. There se to be 2 ways to get started: doing up your own house snd blogging sbout it/getting it into msgs, and/or starting out with work experience/low paid assistance of a big name. The main aspect of an interior design course is drawing - drawing floor plans (Vector works, AutoCsd and by hand) and elevations, again with software and by hand. This is what you would mainly do as a professional kitchen designer or if you joined a design studio. It's basically 5 minutes being creative, and then hours of measuring and putting iyour ideas onto plans in 2d and 3d and (if upmarket) producing hand colored sketches to show the clients your ideas and hope they like them, and if so, make sure the joiners/trades/builders get it right according to the drawings/lighting plans you made.
