Please show me your comfy kitchen seat

As per my (NC) username I am not blessed with much padding in the derriere sadly and I find the tie on pads for seats not enough.
Do you have a fabulous chair in your kitchen?
I don't necessarily mean a dining chair (although I only want one) but not an armchair, I definitely don't have (nor would want) one in my kitchen.
It needs a high back and arms would be a bonus but I could overlook if the chair was comfortable.
I have some mobility issues and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, it's my happy place 😊

I'd recommend an upholstered dining bench. Halfway between chair and sofa, but still very 'kitchen'. I have one from Angel&Boho that is pretty comfortable.

Could you consider an office chair with arms? They are designed to be comfortable and to be sat in for a long time?

They are adjustable and have wheels so you can slide around the kitchen on days when your mobility is dodgy.

We have one (for the desk) in our kitchen and when my back is bad it's very comfy as a chair to eat dinner in. Not the prettiest item but excellent, compared to the amount of space it takes up.

There are companies online that sell used office furniture and some of those types of chairs can cost £1000 but a fraction of this used.

I have one I can try out in the kitchen, see if it's a good fit.

We have a tub chair which is very comfortable and supportive. We have had it for years and just buy covers to freshen it up. Our dining table chairs are extremely comfortable too, they are from Next but we were fortunate enough to be in the store when they were selling ex display furniture and got them for a song .
