I just saw someone on TikTok pull the beading off, fill and sand and then paint. They looked great when she’d finished.

keep

Keep. We had similar in teen DD's room. You'll never buy a replacement wardrobe with that much storage space. Upscale the doors and add new handles.

Keep and change the doors, the storage space is amazing.

I had these exact wardrobes in my last house when I moved in. I hired a local carpenter to make new sliding doors...they looked beautiful! And as someone else has pointed out, the storage space in these is immense!

Without a shadow of doubt keep! You can easily remove the beading and handles then sand down and re bead or have plain. You could even adapt to be shaker style if you like, whatever your style it's perfectly possible to adapt.

I'd upcycle them by painting them the same colour as the walls. It would cost a fortune to replace and it looks like you have quite a bit of decorating to do around the house.

For the one with beading you could either leave as is, pull the bedding off, fill and sand before painting or fill the inside of the beaded area with a wall paper after painting the outside. Lots of options.

If you're not into DIY you could save a bit by replacing the doors only but I don't think that would be cheap.
