Can anyone vouch for recent m&s sofas?

Considering changing, we've had our current m&s sofa for nearly 20 years and it has Bern fab.
Looking at m&s scarlett sofas but wonder if the quality is as good these days?
Or there is a nice joules one from dfs?

We have the Scarlett sofa in velvet. Very comfy but very high! We’ve had a year or so now and still in good condition.
we also a a joules one from DFS (must have similar taste!) but it’s stained/mark terribly just from water

My parents have M&S though not the one you mentioned. It’s fantastic and really comfy BUT delivery was super slow.

Mine is M&S from this year and it’s fab. I ordered it in Jan (sales) and it arrived end of April.

I’d avoid the Joules DFS ones. Look lovely in store and on line but terrible quality in real life (staples showing on seams, scuffs and puckered arms). First one they replaced and it was worse than original. Finally they agreed to take back (not an easy process) and am awaiting a refund. Maybe we were just unlucky!
