Hi,

I received a F&M hamper as a gift, and I’d like to keep the wicker basket in my lounge/diner as a piece of decor.

Though, I’m not sure where to put it! Any suggestions please?

If you have one as decor, where have you put it? 😊

Bonus points for photos

I would like one to either put blankets in or on top of my fridge to house all the unsightly crap up there!

We have been the lucky receipitents of two of these beautys.

One was full of wine so it's now under the stairs as an overflow container for wine.

The other is under the coffee table and stores throws and blankets

It's my baskets of crap - not dealt with bills, school notices anything important but can't be bothered to file paperwork etc, newspapers and magazines. Another houses my important files and documents. The lid goes on and hides all the clutter, so it looks tidy despite me just throwing crap in a basket. I have 2 at the bottom of my bookcase, and one underneath my office table. I picnic hamper is on top of the fridge with plastic plates etc ready for sports day etc.

Thank you. I’m still furnishing my first home and really like the idea of keeping it under the coffee table - once we actually get one! 😂

Perhaps keeping it next to our fireplace until then? I keep our Switch in there, when it’s not in use 🤭

Mine is on top of the wardrobe full of scarves, hats and gloves.

I can imagine it would look nice as home decor. Maybe you could display organic things in it such as seasonal dried flowers, fruit and seed pods, or shells, pebbles and driftwood, or even ceramic objects? Or filled with books?

Look on etsy.com and pinterest. I bet someone out there has had a genius idea you'll love!

Ooh my first thought was next to your fireplace but then I worried I was recommending a fire hazard!

Ours is beside the front door and is full of shoes. I prefer it to a traditional shoe rack.

We don’t use our fireplace as our TV is on the wall above it, you’re fine!

I've got a large one and it sits next to our sideboard in our sitting room, with a metal jug of dried flowers sat on it. It's empty right now as I'm not sure what to put in it. If we had a bigger hallway that wasn't full of teenagers trainers and shit then I'd keep it there with hats and gloves in.
