Teenage boy room

Having found the perfect hanging rail thing via another thread for DS15 room I am now after sone inspiration for his room which I will be painting in a couple of weeks time - either darkish blue or grey -,teen choosing

I'm looking for ceiling light inspo and picture or other signs to hang on wall - nothing too heavy as new build

Also blinds or curtains ???

Inspire away please as I want it to look great rather than the old faded babyish room he has so grown out of , TIA

Teen DS has a dark blue bedroom (walls, ceiling, woodwork) - looks fab and super cosy.

This type of thing is great for pictures and posters - lightweight, easy to hang, easy to swap different posters in and out.

Oh and I'd definitely go blinds rather than curtains. DS has a simple roller blind in the same colour as the walls.

In terms of pictures and wall art, what is he into? My son has framed prints of bands, games and movies he likes as well as one of our dogs. He also has a board that he puts photos and other bits on and a flag of our home country.

He has blinds and floor length curtains. His choice and looks really nice.

He chose a very industrial looking ceiling light, black and grey metal which looks good. He has one of those lamps that are meant to help you wake up.

His room is very dark blue and white and looks really good.
