White duvet covers

I think I want white duvet covers …
looked at white company and a bit pricey.
Any other suggestions?

I wouldn't recommend Dunelm, I find their bedding crease's much more than others. The best white set I have got is a John Lewis 400 thread count, so soft and doesn't need ironing.

I have beautifully soft Ikea striped stuff, and a linen set which I love, both in pure white.

Linens Limited Egyptian cotton. Good quality and super reasonable.

Reading with interest. I've never understood peoples' like of white bed linen, or bath towels, tea towels or indeed clothes!

It does look so nice & fresh. For about 10 minutes, until you or your kid/dog etc brushes up against it and leaves a little dirty mark. Suddenly it looks less fresh. And on it goes.

It would do my head in but I'm impressed with those of you who can manage it 🤔

Ha DustyBlue! I had a homebirth for DD2 and I remember my midwife being horrified by the white linen. I always have all white because my mum did. I think it’s to do with being able to wash it at a hot temperature if someone is sick on it. I do like the way it looks too.

Having tried them all, I concluded that unfortunately, the rather pricy White Company is the best. They do have good sales though and I buy all my bedding then.

I’ve got Dunelm own brand but I AM one of those anal people that irons bedding so not sure what it creases like. I did stay in an AirBnB this year that had lovely white bedding that turned out to be from Primark.

It was Anthea Turner who said all her bedding and pillows are white "so you can see where the dirt is". I had white duvet covers but then I got wool duvets and the casings are sort of yellow which I didn't realise. So I needed darker duvet covers to cover that up.

There is an offer in white company today. The ones I like are still £250 which I won’t pay. Why pillows cost so much and it’s only one pillow!

I have white cotton bedding from King of Cotton which is brilliant.

Although wrestling a wet 600tc superkingsize duvet cover almost substitutes for weight training ;)
