If you look at mirrors on QVC, there's 5 gold framed ones.

What a beautiful sounding room!

Thank you, I did not know they did mirrors. Some great options.

Something vintage/antique? Or more contemporary?

We have approaching twenty mirrors in our old house and they're a mix of styles, but mostly leaning towards the old. The newer ones were mainly found in Homesense, Rockett St George and John Lewis. A few of the antique/vintage ones were sourced at fleamarkets whilst the rest (my favourites) were ebay finds.

Thanks @LibertyLily Browsing eBay now. It is more to bounce light in a room with small windows, than to be an actual mirror. Trying to decide between a contemporary style that is more like a piece of art (can’t find the right word before coffee) or something no classic.

Ebay, vinterior or etsy. There are loads of contemporary mirrors that are preloved on ebay, vinterior has the more expensive vintage ones and etsy is good for handmade (we got a beautiful Peruvian mirror from Etsy, beware of the custom charge and import tax when buying from abroad though).

There were some nice ones on Oliver Bonas last time I looked, which is not somewhere I’d have ever thought of looking for a mirror.
