Matching ceiling to walls (possibly woodwork too)..

Exactly as the title suggests! I love the idea of painting the ceiling to match the walls. Google has a limited amount of real life pics though. Could anyone who's done this share please?

Also, matching the doors and woodwork?

Has anyone used the paint that can be used on everything... my aunt bought some from b&q and her spare room looks magnificent with all surfaces the same colour, but I'd worry about longevity.

Also whilst I'm here I'm looking for inspiration for:
Light pink bedroom
Grey bedroom
Light blue bedroom
Green lounge
What colour to paint hallway? Neutral but not white...

I love it for ceilings and walls, but I don’t like the matching woodwork look.

I think the B&Q paint your aunt used was Valspar's V&Co Dead Matt, so the Valspar version of Farrow and Ball Dead Matt. I'm always happy with Valspar, but the flatter you go, the more maintenance the paint requires. Gloss is always the hardest wearing. F&B colour palette seems lighter than V&Cos. Personally, I would only do coloured ceilings in a light colour (a dark colour can make the room feel low and oppressive), so would probably use a F&B. I would have used F&B Setting Plaster for our ceiling, as well as walls and woodwork, but as we have limeplastered lath and plaster ceilings can't use Dead Flat type of paints on the ceiling, only breathable paints/limewash/distemper.

Have you googled 'colour drenching'? Loads of pics online. Also I'm in a farrow and ball facebook group which is great for inspiration! If you put a post on there asking to see what others have done you'll get loads of replies with pics
