Replacing Kitchen Doors

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of changing kitchen doors onto existing carcasses. I have an 18 year old Howden's kitchen with soft close drawers etc, and I want to replace the doors with walnut coloured doors. Is it possible to do this without ordering from Howdens? I'm also wondering if it's possible at all because of all of the extra trims I'd need on top of the doors. Just wondered if anyone could advise.

We did this - there are lots of companies online selling replacement doors, which also do edging tape, end panels, cornices, kickboards etc etc.

Thanks @Saz12 for the info. Did u get someone in to replace the doors or did you manage to f do o it yourself? If so. Was it straight forward, or a nightmare.

We did it ourselves. Our original doors were a non-standard size, so we drilled the hinges ourselves, which was easy to do but needed a particular drill bit that we had to buy.

Were you happy with your Howden's kitchen generally? I am thinking of getting one but another kitchen company said they were "crap". I suppose they would so wondered what you thought. I notice you weren't going back to Howdens for the replacement doors
