Wall paint to match my curtains

I have these curtains in my hallway but can't decide on a wall colour. It's currently dulux timeless with an oak wooden floor. There's a biggish window in there so plenty of light. I love the arts and crafts movement and most of my rooms reflect that albeit on a budget scale. I already have sage green walls planned for the lounge so don't want to do that. Any suggestions please 🙏

Yellow like the petals of bird wings

We have William Morris Strawberry Thief wallpaper (indigo) on our upstairs landing area and the rest of the hall is F&B Inchyra Blue, but in our next house I'm planning a sunny yellow hallway. Previously we've used India Yellow and Sudbury Yellow which are both lovely but possibly a bit deep for your requirements.

Lily I love the photos of your home on previous threads. We have very similar styles but you are much braver at putting colours and patterns together, I struggle to 'layer' a room if that makes sense.

Sadly that's too similar to my bedroom colour otherwise its a beautiful colour. I need more rooms, my dh has suggested I buy a dolls house so I can use all the colours I love. He was joking but it may come to that.

In that case I would go darker, something like F&B eating room red.

Or even Preference Red.

I love that. On one of the walls I'm planning a long line of bookcases, so if I painted those cream it wouldn't be too dark either.
