Just had an eye watering £3700 quote for shutters on two Juliette balcony doors with slim side windows. The quality looked fantastic but at that price just a dream. Are there cheaper alternatives? Or do you get what you pay for?

Really want them as we live near a busy road, so wanted a little sound proofing and it's unlikely we'll have the actual balcony doors open very often.

Thanks for any advice.

We used a company called ShutterLab. They were very competitively priced and the quality of the shutters are fab.

I asked on here a while ago and shutterlab was recommended by several posters

I had a couple of quotes from local companies and one from Shutterlab as they were so highly recommended.

Price wise there wasn't a lot in it but we were impressed by the fella and his knowledge as well as samples so we went with them.

Haven't had them fitted yet because there's a 12 week lead time (which they all had) but fingers crossed
