What colour should I paint my kitchen walls?

Currently redecorating a certain rooms in our house after first decorating when we moved in nearly 5 years ago.
We went quite plain in the living room and kitchen diner and painted it a pale blue.
I have since come to hate the blue as it shows every bump, mark and dirt from the dogs and toddler and makes the rooms feel cold.
Today, we have painted the living room a deep, dark purple and I really like how cosy it has made the room feel.
I want to now get rid of the blue in the kitchen but not sure what colour to go for. It has two windows, the bigger of the two is east facing and the smaller one is south facing.
I have no idea what colour to paint it so need to help and inspiration!

I'd go a sunshine yellow

I wondered about yellow but worried it will still show up all of the marks?

Maybe a deeper ochre then, or even an olive green?

My first thought was also yellow! It’s a lovely room.

My kitchen has been many colours over the years. The stand out favourite was a turquoise / green with a feature wall papered with a jungle parrots paper.
In my defense we had small children. It was bright and fun.

My last kitchen was a light olive green. It was a really nice calming colour and didn't show every mark (had 2 kids and a dog at the time)
