Shower curtains….

God help me… buying a flat with a very 60s bathroom. Going to live with it initially due to v v expensive quotes I’ve had on re-doing it, but want to at least buy a nice shower curtain for it in the meantime.

where do you buy nice shower curtains from?! Not with modern art/ pretend street scenes on, just beautiful patterns or similar. Anthropologie have some on the right track but surely there are more places out there to choose from?!

I just bought a plain white one from the Range. Matching white everything (towels, shower curtain, bathmat..) makes everything much classier imo.

Mine came from Argos. You can get plain white ones from any of the supermarkets.

Anthropologie ones are lovely but you have to use a waterproof inner too. So a basic plain white waterproof one inside. So you could, if you’re handy, actually use any material you wanted.

People actually sell shower curtains that aren't waterproof?!?! That is very odd, although they are very pretty...

Go for a white weighted hotel quality shower curtain. They can be washed at high temperature with bleach if necessary to remove any signs of mould or musty smells.

The weights help keep the curtain inside the bath/shower tray and stop it from clinging to your wet body.
