Redecorating our bedroom, it’s tiny. I usually am quiet creative and decisive when it comes to colours etc, and I do have a “style”, but I don’t know if my style has a name and so don’t know what to search for on Pinterest!
I like maximalism but not too dark or too cluttered as my house is too small. I like jewel colours, mid century “nan and grandad” furniture mixed with neon touches (the odd neon candle, frame etc), gold and brass, velvet, and quirky art mixed with photos. I dislike grey / greige and the latest beige trends. Don’t like wicker, pampas, mirrored, diamante, chrome Mrs Hinch style etc (no offense, just don’t like mainstream).
If I search for maximalist bedrooms they are too dark and cluttered for my tiny already dark bedroom - I also have to consider the bedframe which has a large grey bolstered headboard. Can’t afford to change that.
Any ideas on what my style is called?! How would you describe it? Any inspo?
