My lovely vintage wall lights

No point to this post besides showing off my vintage French enamel wall lights which OH finally put up yesterday!

We are in the middle of decorating our upstairs landing which is a HUGE job. It's one of the last big areas in our 'project house'.

The wallpaper I chose is very 'busy' and maximalist, but that's my style, so not to everyones taste, but the landing is big and can take it I think.

They are beautiful!

Lovely. They look just like ceiling light I got from b and q years ago. Also, I love love love the wallpaper. I would love to put something as daring in my house but I'm not brave enough. I would love to see a pic of the whole room!

A couple of years ago we moved from a tiny semi to a rambling old farmhouse with next to no money to spend on anything, so whole house is kitted out secondhand, it never ceases me amaze me the beautiful things you can pick up for peanuts!

I'm looking forward to my children going back to school so I can go and have a rummage in the fab local charity shop warehouse - my idea of heaven.

I'm not usually a lover of maximalist things, but that is so beautiful! You have such an eye for putting things together, very nicely done!

As the wife of a confirmed minimalist I can only dream of floral wallpaper and chandeliers! I do love seeing how other people decorate their houses - love your wallpaper and lovely lights.

My OH is doing some more of the wallpapering at the moment, will post a pic in a bit.

I don't have the electric wiring for wall lights so I'm going to cut the wiring off the lights and put battery operated bulbs in with a remote control. Massive cost of wiring avoided! Job done ✔️

We are currently sitting with half our kitchen in the living room as we DIY the kitchen, so it's the thoughts of pretty finishes that keep me going 😂
