Slim bedside tables to co-ord with IKEA hemnes?

Wardrobes and big chest of drawers are the classic soft white ikea hemnes. The matching bedsides are a bit too wide for our room,40cm wide is prob the max we would want. I'm trying to find something else that would co ordinate but not necessarily match iyswim. Bed is fabric charcoal, walls are pale grey-green-blue. I wondered about something quite different like bamboo (ikea do one) then tie it in with a lighting in similar warmer textures/colours, or would this look odd?

I think I'd go with a white or possibly a pale wood colour if you can echo it elsewhere (picture frames, lampshade, curtains)?

It's a little tricky to imagine without seeing your room for context (but I wouldn't want to post a picture of my bedroom online and I imagine you don't either)!

You could put on different drawer handles if you need to, to make it tone in better- but you may not need to.

Ikea actually used to do a narrow Hemnes bedside cabinet, but they discontinued it. Which is weird, because there's clearly a demand for it (hence all the clones).
