Storage under stairs. Ideas please.

We've converted an integral garage into a bedroom but it has an area under the stairs. The under stairs go halfway and the rest is just open. Hope the picture explains the shape. We need to cover up the electric box. We want to leave a gap for a wheelchair to be popped into so don't need storage to be the whole width. Wheelchair can be in either side but storage needs to be maximum, no wasted spaces.

Width of the room is around 10 ft and the cupboard depth 100cm.

Any ideas.

What do you want the storage for? Hanging space for coats would work better in the taller end. Shoes or cleaning products could work on shelves, in cupboards or in pull out drawers. Do you want open storage or something enclosed with doors? Presume you'd need to be able to access the electrics box rather than covering it permanently?

I'd Google 'under stairs storage' to start getting an idea, or look on Houzz.

A local carpenter could price up once you have a rough design.
