I'm in need of ideas for what sort of blind to go for for my window at the top of the stairs. We've got a wooden Venetian blind at the moment and it's a dark oak. We inherited it with the house. I don't like it, it's dark and I feel it looks dull and also it's so hard to clean as I can't reach to clean the slats where it's a big window. Do I go roman/roller - I definitely need something there to soften the wall and window I think. The window is obscured as it is opposite next door's window. I don't need it to be blackout but do need a blind really as helps getting children to bed when it's darker up there! Does anyone have any pics or Ideas? Hillary's is overwhelming to look at.
