Alternatives to IKEA

We have to buy some furniture for our newly rented unfurnished house - sofa, beds. I don't want to spend too much but don't want to buy boring furniture. IKEA is usually cheap but I am a bit bored with IKEA designs. I love loaf.com designs but they are sooo expensive. Any suggestions for stores which won't make a hole in my pocket but have cool furniture?

Look on eBay or vinterior for retro second hand pieces

Have you looked at Jysk? They're like a cheap Ikea. Also Habitat is now basically Argos but they do still have some quite nice things.

Thanks @parietal @LostBiro checking it out now!

I just had a wee nosey on jysk and it doesn't look that cheap.

I would definitely do gumtree. I absolutely love gumtree and it's better for the environment so always a bonus!

Dunelm can be good.

DUSK. La Redoute. Scumble Goosie (good value if bought raw).
I have actually found decent things on the B&Q website DIY.com

I like habitat, it’s as good as ikea and much cheaper delivery.
