Smelly sofa

I purchased a second hand sofa which was delivered yesterday as I’ve just moved into my first property with my toddler and can’t afford a new one. I buy a lot of second hand stuff without issues and the sofa I purchased was from a pet/smoke/child free home and it’s in amazing condition just has a strong smell to it. The smells not necessary bad but it smells like the owners strongly and isnt the nicest, you can smell it as soon as you walk into the living room. I’ve washed all the cushion covers and sprayed/wiped the sofa but the smells not lifting what else can I try?

Bicarbonate of soda neutralises odours.
Buy bulk (Amazon maybe?) and pour it all over, rub it in etc. then open up a couple of binbags or get some polythene dust sheets and cover it. For as long as you can, days if possible. Then hoover it up/shake it all out. If you put a couple of drops of essential oil in the bicarb the night before sprinkling it will scent the powder & add a slight scent.

What's it made of? I mean what are the cushions covered with?
I used bicarb, essential oils (frankincense, lavender), leather shampoo etc on an old chesterfield and what helped was sunshine.
