Dining room chairs, buying new to re-cover

I am redecorating the living and dining room which are connected via an archway.

The living room will have new sofas, cushions and curtains. I am trying to link the two rooms together, I am thinking about buying more curtains and using the material to cover some dining room chairs.

The current dining room chairs could be sanded etc, but two were mine and four were DHs and they do not match - we have been together for 27 years and they were inherited from family members before we met so I do not feel guilty in not recycling them.

Does anywhere sell chairs designed to be covered with new material?

Thanks

I bought some chairs in IKEA which had the option of removable cotton covers which I bought and dyed in the washing machine to match my colour scheme.

Thank you, that sounds perfect

I've done this a number of times.
Practice your corners before you commit and invest in a good stapler.
