I have three chairs I need to reupholster so I want something that isn’t going to break straight away or need to be adjusted every third staple..

thank you.

I have this one Tacwise 1038 Staple gun Hobby 53EL Kit although I think it was only about £30 when I bought it. I bought it to do dining chairs myself and found the manual staple wasn’t strong enough, this is plug-in so has lots of power behind it.

I have this one, which looks very similar to the one recommended by @DearSisterMichael . https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BXF5L84M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I find that it lacks oomph; I have to use a tack hammer to bang home the staples.
Previously I've got through around 4 of the Stanley electric staplers. They are more powerful but don't last long IME.

The best upholstery staplers are the ones that require a compressor!
