Where to get a decent single bed

Hi all

Looking to replace my 12 year olds cabin bed with a decent single bed, ideally with either under bed storage or enough space underneath for some storage.

Room is quite small but so is he so it’s definitely a single I want. Need a standard single so not ikea size.

Can anyone recommend somewhere for decent beds - don’t want to go crazy but would like to get him something with decent support than it comfy?

Single divan with drawers underneath?
Tbh I find it’s the mattress that gives the support and comfort rather than the bed or bed frame.

Yes was wondering about a divan. I’d dismissed divans but cannot for the life of me recall why!

I was set against them for years, I think they probably have a bit of an old persons feel. However, after having multiple slatted beds which do end up wrecking the mattress, and then needing storage instead of having things shoved under beds, I’ve been a convert for years.
Teenager also has one after getting rid of his cabin bed. I love silent night mattresses for comfort though but that’s just personal preference, there are options from soft, medium & firm and the more springs there are the comfier they are imo.
