Matt back door handles?

Has anyone had them?

In the market at the moment and definitely want black but as I've heard bad things about Matt black hardware for things like taps etc wondering if it's the same for handles? I'm imagining scuffs and constant finger marks.

I've been looking at antique black like this instead so as to avoid the above but are my fears unfounded?

I've had black matt handles in for a year - no scuffs or discolouration, and no fingermarks.

We have them and no wear noticeable on them, they were installed two years ago.

However! We have a Matt black kitchen tap (the one with a tap and a sprayer), we're on our second one and both have worn verrrry quickly. I will definitely never have a Matt black tap again.
