South facing wood windows: what would be the best paint, that will last more than a couple of years? Teknos? Weathershield? Or something else?

zinsser allcoat exterior has good reviews, i have used on my south facing front door and looks good

I agree. You can have it any colour you want. Not the cheapest but goes on really nicely.
