What can I do with a uPVC wall?!

We have a uPVC wall in our conservatory that is incredibly ugly. The whole conservatory needs replacing but in the mean time, what can I do with it?

Is it smooth or planks/ridges?

Could a wall covering be put on it like a peel and stick wall covering?

If it’s not smooth then you could make a frame and nail gun some smooth mdf sheets to it and wallpaper/paint that.

If it’s planks/ridges you can paint upvc. People are painting their windows and doors now. It’s not something I’d risk in case it came out streaky or I hated it.

We recently painted an ugly white upvc fascia board on our revamped extension so that it better matched the rest of our (non-listed) 400 year old house.

First we primed it with Zinsser, then used two coats of Little Greene external eggshell in the same colour as our accoya windows. It looks great - and cost very little!

could you attach some ivy on trellis, you can pick it up cheap in home bargains & b&m it can be effective, we used it on a boring brick wall.

Hang a curtain in front of it.

buy Some window film, they have some lovely designs, stained glass, flowers, they aren’t sticky, you apply with water, and can remove them easily. That would make such a difference in your room.

Or fablon?

Wallpaper onto it, get a brick or flowers pattern.
