Bedroom for 5 year old girl

Helpppp! Im switching my children’s bedrooms this weekend and I’ve planned my 2 year old ds bedroom but I can’t for the life of me decide on how to decorate 5 year old dd’s room.

She’s a very typical girl and likes all things pink and unicorn, but I am very much more into the panelling and rattan kind of asthetic. I’ve tried to bring them both together by looking at panelling halfway up a wall then wallpapering the top half but I can’t find any unicorn wallpaper that is to my taste. But obviously it’s her bedroom and I want it to be her happy place and reflect her personality, which is bright and bubbly.

If anyone can help with some inspiration I’d really appreciate it!

How about a rainbow unicorn mural on one wall which could be changed as her interests change? Or unicorn wall decals on plain pink walls which can just be peeled off and replaced?

Just an example I’m sure there are more expensive ones out there or you could have a mural painted depending on budget.

I’d avoid the wallpaper and paint it instead, do the half panelling in white and the top half in pink (or the other way around). I’d go for a darker pink rather than bubblegum because it looks classier. And then bring the unicorn in with some pictures, bed sheets etc, you might find some cute decals like the rainbow ones in these images

Chose a nice acceptable pink paint and go for unicorn accessories (bedding, rug, lampshade...) ... a lot easier to switch up as she grows

Thank you all, if I had it my way we’d avoid unicorns altogether - I’m not even convinced she’s even into them, it’s just what she thinks 5 year olds should like. So I do agree about accessorising with the unicorns rather than doing something more permanent!

Her favourite colours are yellow and pink so my original idea was to panel one wall halfway, paint the bottom yellow, wallpaper the top with this John Lewis wallpaper and the other walls lighter pink, but I’m not sure if that’s too young looking to last until she’s about 9? https://www.johnlewis.com/little-home-at-john-lewis-prairie-wallpaper-multi/p6282548

I wouldn't do the panelling, the wallpaper is nice.

You could wallpaper one wall & paint the rest pink & perhaps to a yellow skirting & door.
