Vinyl in sitting room

Has anyone got vinyl in their sitting room? I need to get rid of the carpet and can't quite afford real wood so have looked at vinyl, some looks really good but will it be naff?

Depends what you mean by vinyl. We've got some lovely LVT (luxury vinyl tiles) that were about £20sqm but laying them isn't easy. Vinyl is meant to be very sustainable though - warm, heard wearing etc.

I have just had some put down In my living room yesterday looks lovely was fed up off the carpet being fifthly least I can mop it
