Decoration cost

I’m wanting to have our 2 bed terrace house decorated. This wouldn’t involve any wallpapering, just painting ceilings and walls, and undertaking gloss work. No carpets or furniture in the house which should make it easier.
We are on the Yorkshire Coast, could anyone give me an idea of what it is likely to cost please?

I've just paid £160 a day for a painter decorator (SE) which was bottom-rung level (and I got what I paid for - a shit job I've had to re-do, never again!!).

He charged about 1.5 day per room but depends on room size and prep needs (holes to fill, sand, etc etc..) etc so could well be more time.

So I'd work up from there.

Sorry you’ve had a bad experience @Echio

Would you not have a go at decorating yourself?

Don’t have the time due to our work @Haveallthesongsbeenwritten

We recently paid £130 a day plus paint costs.

Our decorator was amazing.

About £600 a room plus paint etc. to do a room properly you need the prep to be done well.

I paid £2k for three bed terrace

Day rate is around £200-220 here (SE)

Thanks for all the info, it obviously varies widely but at least I have more of an idea.
