Toddler bed with slide

Redecorating 4yo bedroom. Does anyone have a bed with a slide for their toddler and does the novelty wear off or would he enjoy it for a few years at least?

My son had one. He's 10 now, still has the bed but the slide was taken off about 6 months ago. We'd moved house a year earlier and it really didn't fit, there was no space between the end of the slide and the wardrobe. But he was adamant he wanted to keep it anyway and still climbed up and down it rather than use the ladder to get on the bed.

My DS does have ADHD, mind...maybe a less high energy child might lose interest sooner?! But the bed is still good without it. Our slide was finally removed when the screws loosened and I pretended it couldn't be fixed because of wanted rid because of the space issue. Otherwise DS would've kept it.

We have one and I love it XD let alone what they think. I have a 4yo and 1yo. We got it when the 4yo was 2. I do think they probably wear off by about 6.
