I want to paint the walls of my downstairs toilet/WC. It’s probably a little bigger than most downstairs loos.

The lower half of one side and the back wall is tiled with tiles like in the attached picture (black, grey, white) and the floor is ‘wood like’ karndean. The door, toilet and sink are white.

I have no idea what colour to go for. At the moment the walls are your typical new build cream.

If it matters I live alone so no one else to please/consult about it. My favourite colours are probably purples and blues but I’m open to anything (except maybe pinks).

Please help me figure out a paint colour.

Your savest bet is to pick one of the tile colours, so off-white, grey or black. I think black would work best for a largish downstairs loo.

White or dark grey

how about farrow and ball brassica? its a cool toned purple...so would liven but still add warmth...

french grey is nice its a green grey depending on light.

hay is a smoky yellow...
or go bold with orange..

maybe get one of their paint cards.... homebase usually have or you can order online and see what 'pops'...that'll give u colour idea if u dont want their paint... i find their card the best for likeness so can help choose...

Deep aubergine

I think you should pick up the off white in the tiles and get a paint colour which is the same as this. You could accessorise with purple/blue towels etc if you like.

I like tonal rather than contrast. F&B skiing stone would work really well, then you can put up a few pictures in black frames to lift it.

Blush pink

I would go for a dusky yellow

The tiles and floor give you lots of options and loos can be bold if you want. Other rooms you spend more time in you mightn’t want to do that so I’d choose a colour you really enjoy. Bone China Blue or Brighton from Little Greene would both look nice!

"Pink ground" by F&B would go nicely with the grey

Or "pale powder"

???

I think go bold and do brassica or similar if you like purples
