Bifold blinds, any alternatives?

Just been quoted £1200 for intu blinds for my summer house bifolds and another £2k for my kitchen bifolds and e narrow windows. I had been expecting around £2k for the lot.

Was I just being unrealistic or is this expensive? The guy is looking into a discount but no word on that yet. We can't have perfect fit as the door handle is in the wrong place.

Has anyone got any cheaper solutions? The summer house needs the blinds as it's south facing so gets roasting when it's sunny. The kitchen windows, we wanted more for a bit of privacy (we're not over looked tbh but dh doesn't like feeling exposed) and to block the sun on a summer evening if ware watching the TV. Both sets of bifolds are around 5m long and 2m high.

We've just bought some perfect fit blinds for ours. We have 6 panes. A company came out and measured up and quoted £2500. We have bought the exact same blinds for £800 from Emerald Blinds. You could try buying online and measuring yourself with intu.

We had thermal blinds fitted to our bifold 5 yrs ago .For 6 panes they were much less than a £1000 .They are inset to the window very practical and have a honeycomb internet which traps the air , hence thermal .Very pleased with them .Had them from Blinds are us .I think they are still reasonable price , have a look .Blinds to go sorry !
