Looking for suggestions on displaying some fav quotes

Thinking of framed prints, decals, murals..
Anything else?

Have spent a fair bit trying to find something online to do this.
Lots on Etsy, I know. But, thats part of the problem.

Any tried and tested recommendations?

Thank you

PS:
My fav quote, that I am hoping to display on a full wall Smile
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
― Maya Angelou

I think that's great advice.

When your in a hole, stop digging. Same advice but snappier, less wordy!

A pleasant look makes a meal a feast.

Not generally keen, the only one I like is "life is short, lick the bowl." In a toilet, not a kitchen.

I think life is likely to become even shorter than otherwise expected if you're in the regular habit of licking toilet bowls Grin

“When life gives you lemons, put them in gin and tonic!”

Just to answer the question, how to get a quote onto your wall: The nicest way is to get a Sign Writer to do so. Stickers, as said by pp, are a pain to ever get off and you end up needing to replaster. Several decorators will also be sign writers.

The one I like is "too young for the bowling green, too old for ecstasy" good old Rab C Nesbitt, sums up me perfectly.

But the previous owners has sticker quotes up and it was a nightmare to get off without taking some of the paint off so if you do want quotes I'd have them in pictures or canvas

Inspirational quotes on the wall were in the news a lot yesterday. Did anyone else notice?

'You can't polish a turd'

Always been my favourite and can be relevant in so many situations 😂

I wanted to do this too but really would only do it if I had a study or some room that others wouldn't see.

I really like the poem "Desiderata" and next to that I'd quote the 1975

"and then you took a picture of your salad
and put it on the
internet".

Someone actually wrote this out in calligraphy, framed it and gave it to DH, who is terrible for posting pictures of his food on Instagram.

He posted a picture of it on Instagram, next to a giant bowl of fancy salad, dotted with photogenic pine nuts.Grin

I love this thread. OP, in all seriousness, I was actually very fond of a former neighbour, who had a beautiful old cottage, but every time I came into her hallway and saw LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE, and then DANCE LIKE NOBODY’S WATCHING… on the kitchen wall, I inwardly muttered ‘I wish your house would stop fecking telling me what to do!’

There was something else upstairs — bricks and mortar not making a house a home, but love and laughter, something like that?
