I've been clearing out a cupboard and found what I assume is a piece of cut glass (possibly crystal but probably not).
It was my late grandma's and I don't have any other pieces of it, and nor do my family. We don't know the brand or origin and there are no visible markings on it.
From doing loads of online searches, I've discovered it's likely to be part of a 'surtout de table' centrepiece which would have originally had multiple parts which you'd put together.
It looks quite similar to 'Bleikristall' (it could well be but would be worthless without the rest of the set) but I don't know what it's actually called.
If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be very grateful!
