If you have a gallery wall of pictures of different sizes did you plan if out carefully with measurements or just batter on with it?

No, I just hang them on the wall with no measuring. If something looks off, I will make adjustments.

No measuring!

I've hung mine up the stairs. Every pic has a black frame which helps to tie it together. I had a rough plan ( I laid them out on the floor first) but ended up freestyling! I stuck up larger pics first then interspersed 6x4 pics to fill in the gaps. Oh, and command tape is your friend here!

I just bang them on (but use command strips) - I use the width of my spirit level between each vertically and horizontally so the gaps are even

I've got one all through my hallway and going up the stairs and onto the landing.

All black frames of different shapes, sizes and finishes as a previous OP said to tie it all together.

Randomly picked one and then just placed whichever next to it on and so on. No measuring. All look great! A real jumble but they don't look shite because of the uniform colour 😂

Good tip. I think I'll measure to the centre point of the wall and work from there. They are varied frames and sizes.
