40th birthday gift

I have a friend who I'd like to get some sort of photo / art gift for her 40th. Her home is kind of emaculate and she's pretty classy. I don't really know where to start. I think she'd find any of the personalised stuff a bit naff.

Anyone got any suggestions please?

Would she like a photo or art gift? It’s kind of a personal thing to choose tbh & the 3 pieces of art I’ve had given to me I hate. A house move means they are, thankfully, no longer on the walls. one ‘sadly got damaged in the move’.

@QuickDuck well idk she just said the other day her home looks unfinished because there are no art or photos on the walls! So that was my idea. Definitely a tricky one

Do you have a budget?

Any local art studios with open days coming up? Take a tour round together? Or country shows our craft fairs

Art is so personal AND it has to be the right size, colour etc for the room.

My suggestion is don't unless you are a hundred per cent on what she's like. You could buy a voucher for a gallery?
