Inspired by yesterday thread by regretful homebuyer I thought I’d ask for help too.
We’ve moved into a Victorian terrace needs complete renovation. Absolute money pit over 4 floors. The whole house had shiny orange laminate floors. Plan was to do a room at a time but after a rewire and new boiler and radiators we now bare floor boards everywhere. Kitchen and bathrooms are okay.
We’re going to carpet the main rooms and stairs and landings 4 floors- I can’t afford to tile the hallway (porch is tiled) and in any case it would need levelling etc. way ours of our budget for now.
friends are recommending LVT. Is the what I call Lino? Or more a karndean type thing? Would floor need proper levelling or would underlay boards work?
anyone seen any good / convincing linos anywhere.
