Anyone know the best white paint to get please? I used Dulux last time and it's gone very yellow after a few months so want something that will stay white and also that's washable.

We had the same issue with Dulux, so rubbish these days!

We painted over it with this brand as we found a local stockist. The coverage was amazing compared to Dulux too, the opacity is great. I have wiped marks off with a damp cloth but I suppose it depends on how washable you need it to be, I haven’t needed to do more than wipe as I have older teen rather than small DC.

I am in awe of Edward Bulmers Fair White. It has the most lovely chalky finish that stays true to its off white. Really good coverage. It's wipeable, not necessarily scrubbable, but very easy to touch up if too much has scrubbed off. And no nasties in it whatsoever, so no headaches or funny taste while painting. Our decorator also thought it's the best paint he has ever used.

For what purpose? Walls or woodwork? I'm assuming woodwork, as walls don't go yellow. Old gloss does. I used farrow and ball all white last time, in my living room, which is great after 3 years. For my hall, stairs and landing I bought a 2.5l tin of Johnsons trade eggshell, plus a small primer, which covered all the woodwork, and which was also of very good quality.
