Help me colour my bedroom?

Small master bedroom consisting of bed, one wardrobe, one set of drawers, two little side tables. All furniture is white (apart from bed which is black and chrome metal).
Walls currently grey, floor white laminate, bed cover black and white.

It desperately needs colour!! I’m thinking a pale lilac? Should I have a feature wall? It needs a rug … could fit a small ottoman in perhaps to get rid of the floordrobe? Any ideas / tips welcome!

oh no answers yet….it’s quite hard to suggest colours i guess. I actually have a small primary bedroom too, pretty much the same except the wardrobe is built in across one side. I hate the layout but we can’t change where we put the bed. The colour is a nice sage green and curtains are natural linen. I think a rug is a good idea, I’ve been looking for one I like for ages. If you like pale lilac then it would help break up all the white. It’s really about what colour bedroom you personally like and can live with. Pinterest has good ideas for small bedrooms.

Apart from maybe the black on the bed you have pretty much a blank canvas, you could go for any colour. I’d paint all 4 walls in your chosen colour and then add in some other tones/colours/pattern with bedding, rug, curtains, artwork etc. I’d probably go for a large neutral rug to add some texture. You might be able to spray paint your bed frame.
