Recommend sofa shops please

I'm thinking of replacing a sofa (would be going for a 4-seater and budget up to £2K) and am a bit stuck for suppliers. I am very much a John Lewis shopper and am a bit stuck as to where else to look.

JL have a couple that are possibles.

I don't want to buy without trying and have a limited number of shops on the doorstep.

I've also heard mutterings about the finances of either Loaf or Sofa.com (might be going down the pan.)

I want something fairly traditional, not an L shape or too modern.

Any ideas where to go?

We had ours from loaf. Really pleased with them and customer service was excellent. Haven’t heard anything about them going under.

Direct Furniture Ltd. They’ve shops in Bury St Edmonds and deliver nationwide- they sell ex-display, end of line and slight seconds Loaf sofas for half the price. Have bought a few from there over the years.
