I have to go out and choose carpet for the stairs and landing this week.
House is 1920s. Hall is large and will have oak floor boards. Walls will be pale sage green, with white above picture rail and ceilings. Stairs have oak spindles and will be carpeted to the edge. I need to go up the stairs, cover a landing, up another flight of open tread stairs to a smaller landing.
I have always wanted a striped carpet but wonder if this has now had its day. If not, can anyone suggest something with green in it?
Or something completely different.
