Hi

Does anyone know a good cheaper 100% wool alternative to Axminster wool carpets? We are considering using it in our ground floor living room and top floor minus bathrooms.

It is expensive but feels great and is hard wearing. The previous owners had one but it was in place for over 30 years but still looked okay though outdated.

100% wool but without the Axminster price? Even carpet right do 100% wool now, you’d be able to go in and feel the quality. No guarantee they’d be as hard wearing though.

We once moved into a house that had Axminster carpets, hideous pattern but great quality. The carpets were still down when we moved 5 years later. The house recently went on the market, we moved 27 years ago and those carpets are still down!

Try John Lewis. They have lovely carpets. 100% wool isn't always the best. Sometimes 80-20 wears better.
