Paloma Faith wallpaper

Has anyone used?

We've just ordered this for our upstairs hallway (above the dado rail) after umming and ahhing for bloody ages!

It would be great to hear anyone's opinions/see a pic of it on a 'real' wall!

@WeAreTheHeroes no there was no fireplace in the hallway. There was actually a doorway there as there was a separate bathroom and loo. OH boarded the doorway out when we did the bathroom and next he will be fitting the skirting board and dado rail that's missing.

@Allthegoodnamesarechosen I have toyed with using the green instead.

I might revisit that idea. I think we have SRP paint left over from our bedroom which is why I was leaning that way.

I hate wallpaper, but do sometimes wish I liked it because there are some gorgeous patterns. This is one of those times.

I wonder if she does fabrics.

@kingofchaos have you finished the hallway yet? I am thinking similar with this one from Paloma Faith Collection. Have been digging through Pinterest for ideas. Wonder if pink tiles as well will be too much.

Yes.. well the walllpapering is done, still got to finish the painting up the stairs, but ran out of steam a bit!

The paper you are looking at I also considered. It's lovely, very like Artemis by House of Hackney.

I wa googling for reviews and blogs no came across this thread. It always look good in big double fronted houses captured in professional photography, I wasn’t so sure about a narrow terrace corridor but now I am! Merry Christmas and happy new year :)

We do actually have a nice big Edwardian semi, but the hallway and upstairs landing are long and narrow! Still a way to go but as we are doing it all ourselves, we will be hopefully starting ip again in the new year. oh Sweated blood and tears wallpapering the landing.. he has vowed to never wallpaper anything ever again!

It looks perfect and so beautiful. You must smile every time you go through there. I would!

It’s going to look amazing once you have your mirrors and pictures up. It already looks so good with the wall lights and ceiling light together. Well done to you both!

Looove this! We’re hoping to have our offer accepted on a house with a similar hallway and I’d love to do something like this.
Question - going down the stairs have you carried the wallpaper on, or have you just carried the pink paint down the stairs into the entrance hallway?

@Richie23 the intention is to wallpaper down the stairs too snd paint pink the bottom 2/3 ( if that makes sense?)

Edited to add: we have already wallpapered up the stairs.

The bottom half will be painted pink. The walls need prep first/ rubbing down etc.

Bannisters/stairs etc still to be done. That's the next job for 2024!

Have picked out the stair runner/landing carpet too but unfortunately it's completely out of budget at the moment. Have looked for cheaper options but can't find anything else I like!

It looks fabulous. The scale of the pattern works really well too.

Yes we have dildo rails as the house was built in 1907.

Also just to add, couldn't afford the Crucial Trading carpet that I wanted.. it was eye watering, so found an alternative that was about half the price, and gad the stair runner bound in pink instead.

The chap in the shop looked horrified when I told him what I wanted, but I think it turned out well and gave me the 'pink pop' I wanted 😊

The bannisters were an epiccto strip and sand.. OH was a broken man by the end!
