Too Meh?

Anyone else totally sick of grey throughout the house? Well after spending the last 10 years mastering the grey tester pot scene then I decided I wanted something warmer so, after much deliberation, tried COAT, Mindful but I'm not too sure if it is too pinky in our west facing living room now... kinda feels a bit boring (although the paint is totally lush and looks amazing in our bedroom, btw).

What could I add to cool it down a little or add a bit of interest? Make it a little bit more modern looking. Should I add some darker warms colours? Radiator cover covers ugly electric box but I have bought COAT Sunday soul to paint it with.

I'm currently going colour blind so any help is appreciated😵

Love the warmer tones, grey everywhere just leaves me cold! Add colour with accessories - cushions, throws, flowers etc all easily changed when you fancy a change!

Sounds awful but I've just painted two of my living room walls red and left the other two grey.
Added red accessories too and it looks great.

Looks great OP. Much nicer than grey

Thank you, I’ll nip to H&M and grab some accessories, I’ve seen a lush pillow I’ve been eyeing up.

Grey and red sounds nice, I wanted some red in this room 😊

I always really liked Dulux Natural Hessian [on three walls] and Redcurrant Glory on a chimney/feature wall as they advertised approx. 10 years ago.

Another lovely dog! I love F&B Radicchio

@lashy that looks great, after much deliberation I’ve painted a room in natural hessian and it feels a bit meh, but yours looks lovely, I think it’s often the change from what was there before that can cause ‘meh ness’

We had a raspberry pink/red with sail white in our old flat and it was beautiful. We didn't go grey here but went v pale blue. A farrow and ball but I want a change. Maybe we can skip grey (other than DS room who was adamant he wanted grey)

We have had a grey bedroom since long before grey was an instagram thing. It's a cosy shade and soothing for sleeping. Would not want it in other rooms of the house.

Grey reminds me of fag ash and old war films.

Looks better. Needs some colour and/or plants tho
