We have these old fashioned tiles in the bathroom, and now the sink is not working probably blocked and plumber says he has to break the tiles to get access behind to the pipes, but that means we have to replace the tiles and we can't find any matching ones in shop
We tried every one of the shop in our town and they all said these tiles are not manufactured any more!!
Surely this problem must happen to lots of people and how do they manage? Where can I find matching tiles, please help!! These are the tiles we have not fashionable but I don't want to do a whole bathroom refit if I can help it

if you manage to find the same design you’d never get an exact match. There are colour variations between batches.

We had to buy a couple of boxes of tiles after a shower panel leaked & we decided to extend the tiles instead. We got them from the same shop all the other tiles were from, only a couple of months later, but they are slightly different.

Have you tried searching using the photo on Google Lens? That apparently searches for matches for items you want to buy to find matches or similar items. You might have to take a photo in better lighting though.

I downloaded Google lens and searched. Nothing came up I’m afraid.

maybe search ebay or post a ‘wanted’ post on Facebook or Nextdoor.co.uk.

Have you looked for leftiver tiles previous owner stashed away somewhere? In the loft, or maybe a garden shed? We put leftover tiles under the bath (behind the bath panel).

Otherwise your options are limited! Maybe replace with feature tiles - youre so unlikely to find exact replacements, itd probably look better with a contrast than with a similar-but-not-right mismatch. Or make a mosaic feature tile section from the smashed tiles. Alternatively cover with a contrasting shower panel and paint the walls the same colour as the panel?
