Please help me style this sofa

So we've ordered this sofa - it can't be changed so please be kind! What colours would you put with it? Room is pretty much a blank canvas, currently painted skimming stone, but open to painting if necessary.
Any ideas gratefully received!

What look are you going for? Do you want cosy or glam or what?

Is there any other furniture you will definitely have in the room? How big are your windows and what direction do they face? Do you already have curtains or blinds? If so what do they look like?

When do you use the room? All day or mostly in the evening?

I'd bring in some creams, greens/Grays (as on the walls here) and some burnt orange, natural wood and plants.

Don't use anything like yellow etc as that will look flat and corporate.

Duckegg goes well. You can go pale or deeper duckegg or maybe a soft blush pink. It all depends on your style. I am more towards pastels but with that colour sofa you can pretty much go bold or soft colours. Have fun with it 😊

@Precipitate I'm thinking cosy.... the room is South facing, big bay window with very pale grey wooden Venetian blinds. I'd quite like to get some curtains just as dress curtains. Floor is dark wood laminate and is staying. So also looking for a rug.

@KeeperSweeper I like that photo, thank you. I hadn't thought of cream with grey. It's so bare at the moment, some plants would definitely help.
