What colour for very light living room?

We're moving and our soon-to-be living room is very bright- has six windows across two walls. We have dark brown leather couches but have no idea what to paint it. It's currently white but I don't want white/beige/cream or grey. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know about doing a feature wall because the only wall we could make a feature wall is a 'side wall', not the front or back of the living room due to the layout.

I think it depends on what colours you like, how bold you want to go, and what other furnishings (rug, cushions etc) you have. We have a brown leather sofa and our walls are Farrow&Ball French Gray and we really like it.
