The front room of our house was decorated when we brought it in 2015. Its open plan straight from the roadside and has a dining room also in it. Its had 2 children and 2 dogs and lots of general wear its getting really grubby now the skirting boards are marked and chipped. We painted straight onto the plaster walls but the plaster has unfortunately cracked lots (apparently we didn't let it dry out enough)
Ideally I want to line the walls with paper to cover the cracks and then paint them however my issue is we have a 9 month puppy who though is now toilet trained, he has been chewing and occasionally still does have a go on the skirting boards and door frames. This makes me think am I just completely wasting my time and energy?
What's your thoughts please because I'm so indecisive
