Tween's bedroom

Hi, I'd really appreciate any advice, I've been Googling for days and am starting to go around in circles! Decorating DDs bedroom _ walls are all lilac and furniture is all white.
DD is crazy about this duvet - https://www.dunelm.com/product/lilac-leopard-duvet-cover-and-pillowcase-set-1000201007

I think my main question / problem is I don't want the whole room to be an all mauve shell so I'd like to introduce pattern and other colours but no idea what.
Do I get a green rug that matches the green in the duvet or do I go for this duvet https://www.habitat.co.uk/product/7041158
and have a lilac, pink and cream scheme - there's a lot more choice in pink blinds and rugs! Or ideally both duvets and a look which works with both! I'd prefer not too much pink.

I like a cheetah print rug , this would have been perfect but is too small

Or plain ? https://www.rugsdirect.co.uk/rugs/plain-nearly-plain/chicago/lavender/

Or https://www.rugvista.com/carpet/spotty?artno=RVD33654

There are lots of bright pink or purple animal print rugs but they would be too much in this small room. I also don't want it to be safe and it all to look too bland.

I quite like this https://www.next.co.uk/style/st507628/707735
but would it work in green?

And this for a blind https://www.dunelm.com/product/luna-thistle-blackout-roller-blind-1000212116
?

Any advice appreciated!

DD11 has pale lilac walls, white furniture and a spotty rug (white with black spots). It looks lovely together.

Personally I wouldn't get too hung up on matching rugs to duvets - she'll have more than one set of bedding. Reference colour around the room, I find that all of DD's stuff sorts that!

I love that thank you, and they've got it in the size I'm looking for.

Try adding some small pops of colour with some artificial plants. This adds a bright touch of greenery and texture without being overwhelming. The only thing is, it's another thing to dust.😂

Lovely idea too, I'll see what I can find
